Missouri Governor Eric Greitens is an up and coming politician who has been aiming for a spotlight on the national political stage. But last week, those ambitions might have been derailed after rumors of an extramarital affair, which he acknowledged, surfaced.
There are also new allegations that he took unwanted photos of the encounter and used them to blackmail the woman, which he denies. Now some lawmakers and observers are calling for his resignation, and others wonder if his chances for a political rise are now deflated.
